You bring a real task. We watch you do it, no scoring, no quiz.
Get through the recipe, the invoice, the shift, without losing the thread halfway. We build the strategies and the stamina around your own tasks, one-on-one with a licensed Occupational Therapist, every visit.
What It Is
You can still do the steps. That is the part nobody believes when you try to explain it. What went missing is the thing that holds the steps together while you do them: the running list in your head, the filter that keeps the rest of the room out, the word that was right there a second ago.
Cognitive rehab is training for exactly that. Attention, memory, sequencing, and the stamina to keep all three going past the first twenty minutes. We work it against your real tasks. Your medication box. Your invoices. The recipe you used to make without reading it. A puzzle on a screen does not transfer to a Tuesday, so we do not spend the visit on one.
Here is what it is not. It is not a memory game, and it is not a promise. We cannot restore what an injury took, and anyone who says otherwise is guessing. What we can do is build strategies around the gap, train the endurance back up, and measure the change against tasks that belong to you rather than a chart of averages.
Your tasks. Your measure of progress.
What It Helps
If any of these is the reason you are reading this page, you are in the right spot.
What A Session Looks Like
1
You bring a real task. We watch you do it, no scoring, no quiz.
2
We find the exact point it falls apart, and name it.
3
You leave with one strategy to try, written down, not five.
Why It Works
A recipe followed start to finish.
A conversation in a loud room you can hold.
A workday that leaves something for the evening.
Fewer things quietly slipping off the list.

Questions, Answered
Brains do not run on a schedule, so we will not invent one for you. What we give you instead is a plan with an endpoint. The four phases run in order, Pain, Prime, Perform and Prevent: settle the headaches and the overload first, rebuild the underlying skill, put it into your real tasks, then make it hold without us. You will always know which phase you are in and what earns the next one.
Most of our patients come to us by physician referral, often from a neurologist, a concussion clinic or a primary care office, and many insurance plans require one before they will pay. Call us at (360) 989-1200 with your plan details. We will tell you what yours actually requires and help you sort it out before your first visit.
Very likely. The full payer list lives on our Insurance page and it is long: Regence BCBS, Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, Providence and Washington L&I are all on it. We verify your exact benefits before your first visit and tell you what we find, so the bill is not a surprise. Call (360) 989-1200 if you want us to start that today.
