Angie Daniel

OTR/L, CHT
Occupational and Certified Hand Therapist

Growing up in Northern Minnesota, I pursued my undergraduate studies at the University of North Dakota. I decided to exchange the snow and cold for rain, venturing out to Washington for my clinicals, where I fell in love with the PNW. My passion for hand therapy developed early in my career. I was fascinated by the anatomy and biomechanics of the hand. After years of dedicated study and practice, I successfully passed the certified hand therapy exam in 2008. Currently, I reside in Vancouver, Washington, with my husband, three children, and our beloved dog, Mowgli.

Over the past 24 years, I have honed my skills as a certified hand therapist and occupational therapist, with 17 of those years dedicated to specializing in hand therapy. My experience encompasses a diverse range of conditions, including fractures of the upper extremity, wound care, arthritis, complex trauma, neuropathies, tendon lacerations and ruptures, and sprains/strains to name a few.

The core values that drive my life are integrity, gratitude, and compassion.

Perspective is everything! Changing your outlook can transform your life.
Even in tough times, we can find hope. Challenges build resilience, resilience
builds character, and character brings hope!

I enjoy helping patients understand their condition and the anatomy involved with their injury. People are naturally more compliant when they know the why behind what they are doing. I am also passionate about helping patients navigate the complexities of the healthcare system in order for them to receive the best care possible.

I am a certified hand therapist specializing in the upper extremity. I enjoy treating trauma, fractures, arthritis and providing wound care. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Gabbert Clinic. It feels like family and is such a positive environment.

Amy is absolutely the best physical therapist I have ever had for any body part! ๐Ÿ™‚ She is thorough, knowledgeable, effective, efficient and friendly. She takes the time to listen and understand your symptoms so that she can provide the most effective therapy to help you improve. I really can’t recommend her highly enough!

Amy is an exceptional therapist with extensive knowledge of hand, arm, and elbow function. My husband was in a terrible car accident that resulted in nerve damage, cartilage loss, and an extensive surgery to repair a compound elbow fracture. Amy has been instrumental in getting some movement back in an elbow that was locked very tight by the time we found Amy. We are so glad we found Amy, and can not recommend her any more highly. Thank you, Amy!
